Utilizing Blogs in the Classroom

As a teacher, I intend to utilize blogging as a means of class discussion. Many times in a regular classroom setting, discussion is limited to those students who are more vocal and who are not intimidated by the reaction of their peers. The introduction of blogging will encourage the participation of those students who do not like to participate in the regular class setting because they are too shy and may feel what they are saying is wrong. Blogs give a voice to those students who are reluctant to participate in the classroom setting. So therefore, I will utilize a blog to allow for the participation of all my students.

  4. Technology, here I come! That is what I see from your backgroung design. Love it. It is in keeping with your theme, "Integrating Technology in the classroom." However, my journey into your classroom is some what interrupted by your daily calendar spread across the top of your screen. I would suggest you reduce that gadget to a much smaller one being displayed on the left side of your blog page. Other than that, your blog is very appealing and captivating. Great job Nisha. Pro bloogger!
